A specialised clamping system is used to machine mass-produced automotive turbo bodies on a vertical turning centre. Positioning uses an expanding system and hydraulic cylinders, with integrated adaptive hydraulic cylinders providing clamping and anti-vibration support. Hydraulic actuation is achieved through a multi-channel drilled beam and a high-speed, high-pressure rotary joint.
